The Hotel Vancouver had  a great ballroom, but poor light for photography.  I compensated by taking as  many shots as I could (>1300), hoping that some would not be blurred.   That was not as  successful as I would have liked,   but I’ve cropped and uploaded most shots on the theory that people might want to see them anyway.  It was  a nice review for me.   Towards the end of the afternoon I experimented with the video mode  on my camera, and that worked quite well.
